Lizzo

LizzoLizzo was part of a prog-rock group that she sang in and occasionally played her flute. The family she was born into had moved to Denver which meant she was all on her own as she tried to start her career in Houston. Lizzo lived in her car and sometimes slept on the carpets in her recording studio and showering at the gym. Lizzo lost her father when she was 20 years old. It was a devastating loss for both of them, because they were extremely close. After the passing of her father, she quit the rock group prog. After a brief stint in Denver, Lizzo moved to Minneapolis in the year 2011 on the advice of a close friend. Lizzo was soon immersed in the music scene of Minneapolis. She was part of the girl groups Chalice, GRRRL PRTY. Her first album Lizzobangers was released in 2013 under an independent label.
